AT&T: “No More Tracking Customer Data.â€
AT&T recently announced that they were phasing out the use of tracking information on its customers’ mobile phones in order to help advertisers. AT&T stated that the data derived from ‘perma-cookies’ was part of a test. While the company might implement this program again in the future, customers will be given the option to opt out.
