It has been revealed that Apple’s Siri, the digital personal assistant installed on iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch devices, collects and sends users’ voice data to 3rd party companies. While controversial, this practice is allowed under Apple’s iOS licensing agreement and Apple states that they represent each user with a randomly generated number in order to protect anonymity.
