There is conflict within more businesses, companies, and other organizations regarding security. The IT staff put software and other safeguards in place to protect the network and prevent overall data breaches. However, many other employees might not care or be aware of the actual threat, either becoming complacent when it comes to certain tasks (such as regularly changing a password) or even becoming aggravated; thinking that the security safeguards and blocks are actually impeding their work.
It is up to the company to regularly explain to their employees the importance of their data security system. Education is key in order to wake them up to the potential risks and to recognize why certain protocols are in place. This allows employees to work alongside the IT team to secure the workplace, rather than have potential infighting.
