While 2014 saw breaches in Sony Pictures among others; this year seems to be competing with it. We’re only three months into 2015 and data breaches, malware, and more are still plaguing network security. What were some of the biggest security flaws thus far?
The biggest elephant in the room is Anthem’s breach that compromised the personal data of over 80 million people. The popular rideshare service Uber experienced a breach that exposed the names and license plate numbers of over 50,000 drivers. We have to collectively fight cyberattackers if we’re going to be able to make the next nine months more secure than the previous three.
