A privacy bug in WhatsApp is allowing strangers to view users’ profile pics regardless of their privacy settings. Seventeen year-old Indrajeet Bhuyan discovered the flaw, seeing it in the latest web version of WhatsApp. It was also discovered that if a user sends a photo then deletes it, it is not blurred out like it would be in the mobile version. Phony Flash Update Infects 110K Facebook Users
In less than two days, a Trojan has infected 110,000 Facebook users and counting. The malware posts links to a pornographic video from an infected user’s account and tags 20 random friends of the infected. If a user opens the video link, the viewer will be asked to install a fake Flash player that contains the actual malware.
