Last year, a number of security researchers got paid big bucks from Google for pointing out flaws and finding bugs in its open-source software and web services. More than 500 vulnerabilities were found leading a 2014 tally ending in over $1.5 million in reward money. Google is now starting a grant program to enlist additional researchers.
